A stunning unframed art print of the illustrated map of the Kent county illustrated by Sophie Hodges (Inky Acorn Designs) printed on soft textured 190gsm acid free cotton paper. This illustrated print features some of the wonderful landmarks around Kent like Canterbury Cathedral, The Assembly Theatre, The Old Neptune pub, Faversham Guildhall as well as oast houses, bicycles, fish and chips and many other little illustrations dotted around the illustrated map. The map features many of the wonderful towns and villages in Kent, including: Canterbury, Whitstable, Folkestone, Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Margate, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Rochester. About the designer...
Sophie Hodges is the Kent-based illustrator and designer behind Inky Acorn Designs. What began as a search for unique & colourful wedding stationery for her own big day has grown into a creative studio full of colour, character and illustrated charm. She's always loved maps, architecture and landscapes, and they’ve become a natural focus of her work. Many of her illustrations draw inspiration from traditional lino printing and the name "Inky Acorn" came from one of the very first lino designs she ever carved: a little acorn printed onto a card for a wedding.
